Park Hill School Project
Project Highlight: Parkhill School – New K–4 School in West Steinbach
Hanover School Division
Opened September 2025, the brand-new Parkhill School is a landmark educational facility for the growing community of Steinbach, Manitoba. With a $39.7 million investment and 62,304 sq. ft. of purpose-built space, the two-storey school is designed to serve 500 Kindergarten to Grade 4 students, with room to expand to 600.
The school includes 19 bright, modern classrooms, a full gymnasium, library, music and art rooms, a multi-purpose space, a life-skills suite, and a variety of support areas. It also integrates childcare for 74 children, with dedicated before and after care spaces to support families in the community.
Designed by Prairie Architects Inc., Parkhill School is thoughtfully organized with two wings anchored by a dynamic central commons. This open two-storey entry space provides easy access to the building’s key learning and activity areas, creating a welcoming hub for students, staff, and families.
At Spaces Inc, we were proud to play a role in bringing this vision to life. Our team supplied flexible, student-centered furniture solutions - including classroom desking, activity tables in both rectangle and trapezoid configurations, and mobile teacher desks. Each product was selected to foster collaboration, adaptability, and long-term durability, ensuring that Parkhill School is equipped for both today’s learners and future generations.
