Manyhorses High School Project
Project Highlight: Manyhorses High School
Tsuut’ina Nation, Alberta
Located beside the new Tsuut’ina Sportsplex and Trades Training Centre, Manyhorses High School serves 271 students in grades 10–12 and offers sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains.
The design of this $18.6 million facility was the result of a strong collaborative effort between the Building Committee and Design Team. Together, they created a modern, functional environment that both resolves the limitations of the former school and reflects the language, traditions, and cultural values of the Tsuut’ina First Nation.
Spaces Inc. was proud to supply furnishings for this remarkable project, supporting learning environments that are flexible, durable, and aligned with the cultural and functional vision of the school.
Key features include a circular Ceremonial Room, nine classrooms, a Special Education suite, a multi-use theatre, foods and cosmetology labs, an industrial arts lab, an arts and culture room, a Learning Commons, an Elders Lounge, and a double gymnasium. Outdoor facilities include a turf soccer field and a running track.
At the heart of the school is the Ceremonial Room and Gathering Space, positioned alongside a 176-seat theatre and a commercial kitchen — providing a central hub for both student life and community events.
