Project Highlight: Entwistle Library

Spaces Inc. was awarded the Entwistle Branch refresh project through a competitive public tender, selected for our ability to combine thoughtful design solutions with responsive project execution.

Scope & Execution
Our in-house design team played a pivotal role during the tender process, delivering multiple space plans and product recommendations that aligned with the County’s design goals and functional needs. Upon award, Spaces Inc. collaborated closely with Parkland County stakeholders to refine the proposed solutions, ensuring they aligned with updated budget parameters.

 

Despite delays in contract finalization, which compressed the overall project timeline, Spaces Inc. demonstrated agility and commitment by working directly with our manufacturing partners to accelerate product delivery schedules. These efforts were essential in meeting the original installation deadlines and ensuring the branch opened on time as planned.

As part of the refresh, Spaces Inc. supplied modular and mobile library shelving, soft seating, and coordinating tables, creating flexible and inviting environments that adapt to the diverse needs of library patrons. These elements not only enhance functionality but also support Parkland County’s vision of delivering a welcoming, community-centered branch experience.
