Project Highlight: Camis Head Office, Guelph, ON

This project is a great story of continuity, sustainability, and smart re-use. The furniture in this space was originally purchased and installed by a previous tenant - a project we completed several years ago. When Camis took over the space, they wanted to make it their own while maximizing what was already there.

By partnering with Spaces Inc, Camis was able to repurpose the existing furniture seamlessly, integrating it with new pieces to create a cohesive, modern environment tailored to their needs. Our design team developed a detailed furniture plan that blended old and new perfectly, while maintaining consistency in finish, function, and style.

Working with the same installation team that originally set up the furniture made the process even smoother. Their familiarity with the product allowed for efficient re-configuration, resulting in a beautiful, functional workspace that feels entirely new, even though much of it was reused.

When taking over their new space, Camis wanted to preserve and refresh the existing furniture while adapting it to support their team and operations. By choosing to re-use and re-imagine what was already there, they demonstrated both fiscal responsibility and a commitment to sustainability.​​

Desking & Tables: Workspace & Allsteel

To maintain a cohesive look across the office, identical product lines were specified to match the existing furnishings. The electric sit-stand desks, paired with integrated privacy screens, provide flexibility and ergonomic support while enhancing both visual and acoustic comfort at seated and standing heights.

Privacy Panels: Allsteel A8

Allsteel A8 panels were selected to deliver clean lines, functional separation, and an elevated sense of privacy within the open workspace.

Task Seating: SitOnIt

To ensure every team member enjoyed the same comfort and performance as before, each chair was precisely matched using the original manufacturing barcodes. This guaranteed the identical model, features, and materials — preserving ergonomic consistency and comfort across the team.

Side Chairs: SitOnIt

SitOnIt side chairs complement the overall furniture package, offering comfort, durability, and a cohesive aesthetic throughout shared and meeting areas.
