Argyle School Project
Project Highlight: Argyle Joint-Use School
Regina Public School Division | A Modern Learning Campus for Regina
The Argyle Joint-Use School represents a major step forward for education in Regina, uniting two former 1950s-era schools into one forward-looking facility designed for today and tomorrow.
This collaborative project brings together two distinct Pre-K to Grade 8 schools each designed for 400 students, within a shared campus that also includes a 51-space child-care centre and welcoming community areas. The result is a vibrant educational hub that supports students, families, and the wider neighbourhood.
At the heart of each school is a bright, two-storey student commons featuring a terraced amphitheatre stair and a flexible performance area. Learning is further supported through modern, adaptable classrooms and dedicated collaboration zones that encourage creativity, teamwork, and innovation.
Sustainability was a key focus, with energy-efficient systems and environmentally responsible design choices that lower operating costs while providing healthier spaces for students and staff. Expansive outdoor learning environments, a shared mini-gym, and a community kitchen extend learning and wellness opportunities beyond the classroom and into the community.
As part of this project, our team at Spaces Inc supplied student desks, shaped activity tables, flip-top tables, mobile tote storage, window shades, and portions of the seating throughout the facility - helping to create flexible, functional, and engaging spaces that align with the school’s vision for 21st Century Learning.
By combining flexible design, modern amenities, and a commitment to innovation, the Argyle Joint-Use School delivers a dynamic, student-centered environment built to serve Regina for generations to come.
